biography.

Jean-Pascal Porcherot joined the Lombard Odier Group in 2009 and was primarily involved in the development of alternative investment strategies within Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM).

He was appointed CEO of its hedge fund business (1798 Alternatives) in 2014 and became a Managing Partner of the Group in 2022. He is also Co-Head of the LOIM Unit, along with Bettina Ducat.

Jean-Pascal has advised numerous businesses, private equity funds and governments across Europe. He began his career at JPMorgan in 1997 before joining Lazard Frères in 1998 as an Associate, and eventually becoming Vice President in Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2002, he became a Managing Director in the Equity Capital markets team at Deutsche Bank.

Jean-Pascal obtained a Master’s degree in Financial Markets from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1995. He also holds an engineering degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris.
