Lombard Odier (Europe) SA (“Lombard Odier”), the Swiss international wealth manager, announces the appointment of Sophie Dworetzsky as Lombard Odier’s Head of Wealth Planning UK as of 22 September 2025. Based in London, she will be part of Lombard Odier UK, headed by Mark Goddard, Chief Executive Officer, and will report at Group level to Stanislas Peel, Global Co-Head of Wealth Planning at Lombard Odier Group.

Joining Lombard Odier’s UK team during a period of significant expansion for the business, Sophie will lead the development of Lombard Odier’s wealth planning offering in the UK. She will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver innovative and tailored solutions that reflect the increasingly global nature of wealth management today, aligning with the business’ long-term growth strategy in the UK.

With a career spanning senior roles at two of the UK’s leading private client law firms, Charles Russell Speechlys, where she was a Partner for the past six years, and Withers, where she was a Partner for over a decade, Sophie is a recognised expert in advising sophisticated financial professionals. She advises private equity managers on tax-efficient investment structuring and the taxation of carried interest. Sophie has recently advised extensively on the abolition of the remittance basis for formerly non-domiciled individuals as of April 2025, and tax planning in the UK following this meaningful change. She also brings to Lombard Odier expertise in advising entrepreneurs, business owners and international family offices on matters ranging from business sales and management buyouts to family governance and succession planning.
