    Herzog & de Meuron wins Lombard Odier architectural contest for its new global headquarters in Bellevue

    The Lombard Odier Group announced today that Herzog & de Meuron has won the contest for its new state-of-the-art headquarters in Bellevue (Geneva). The world-renowned architectural firm was the unanimous choice of the contest’s jury, chaired by Hugo Bänziger, Managing Partner of Lombard Odier. Eight international architectural firms participated, upon invitation, in the competition. Herzog & de Meuron’s winning project will be revealed on Monday 27th November at 11:30 AM CET at the Société Nautique de Genève. The event, in the presence of Pierre de Meuron and Jacques Herzog, will be a live webcast.

    The seven runner-up firms (in alphabetical order) were:

    • Bjarke Ingels – BIG
    • Diener & Diener Architekten
    • Dominique Perrault Architecture
    • Favre & Guth
    • Rem Koolhaas – OMA

    On April 25th 2017, Lombard Odier announced its decision to build a new global headquarters in Bellevue (Geneva) on the shore of Lake Geneva in order to bring all its staff together under one roof. The construction of the new head office is a strategic step in Lombard Odier’s development, illustrating confidence in the future and commitment to investing in cutting-edge infrastructure in line with new ways of working. Once completed in 2021, it will accommodate up to 2,600 workspaces. The new headquarters of Lombard Odier will be the first architectural achievement of Herzog & de Meuron in Geneva.
