Lombard Odier honoured at WealthBriefing Swiss Awards 2020

We have great pleasure in announcing that for the sixth consecutive year, Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd was honoured at the “ WealthBriefing  Swiss Awards 2020”, held in Geneva on Thursday 6 February, including in the "Best Corporate Social Responsibility" category, awarded for the first time this year.

We congratulate all our teams on the Swiss market who participated in this success and thank our clients and partners for their trust.

The distinctions were received in the following categories:

Best Domestic Private Bank

This award, which we have received for the fifth time in the last six years, reflects the unwavering commitment to excellence on the part of Lombard Odier’s teams of specialists, distributed across our five offices in Switzerland. It also confirms the relevance of our "Swiss offering", a global approach to every component of our clients’ wealth, which delivers tailored, integrated and tax-efficient wealth management solutions to our clients who reside in Switzerland. To achieve the best structure for clients’ wealth, Lombard Odier has developed an innovative approach based on the effective distribution of wealth between pension assets and private holdings, as well as a dedicated offering for entrepreneurs.

We are particularly honoured to receive the Best Corporate Social Responsibility award, which is being presented for the first time in Switzerland this year.

Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

We are particularly honoured to receive this award, which is being presented for the first time in Switzerland this year. It rewards the actions we have put in place to strengthen and reinforce our sustainability commitments. Last year, we became the first global wealth and asset manager to achieve the prestigious B Corp certification, following a stringent, external evaluation against more than 200 criteria. On the investment side, our clients benefit from our broad expertise and innovative solutions in the field of sustainable investing. We have also considerably reduced the environmental impact of our offices in Switzerland.

Best Private Bank – Client Service

At Lombard Odier, we have a relentless focus on our clients. As bespoke wealth managers, we believe deeply in the power of close human relationships between clients and bankers. All our clients have a single, dedicated banker, who draws on a global team of wealth planning and investment experts, to provide long-term support. All have access to our award-winning banking software My LO, which benefited from a new release in 2019 and which offers a complete oversight of their wealth, as well as fully customisable analysis and reporting. Our CLM Programme (Client Lifecycle Management) has also facilitated major improvements in our client experience, thanks to back office optimisation, simplification of the onboarding process and a reduction in administrative documentation.

As bespoke wealth managers, we believe deeply in the power of close human relationships between clients and bankers.

Best Marketing Campaign

This award recognises the success of our advertising campaign Rethink Everything, which was launched in September 2016 and has grown stronger with each successive season. The campaign goes far beyond advertising, to truly capture and communicate the spirit and philosophy of our bank.

Since autumn 2018, it has been centred around the Sustainability Revolution, which we believe to be a huge investment opportunity. Our latest campaign, “Eagles and Ostriches” comprised captivating visuals and insightful content into how our investment strategy tackles sustainability challenges. It reflected our bank’s long history as a responsible investor, and our leadership in the sustainable investing field for over 20 years. The Sustainable Revolution campaign enhanced our image and visibility, drove positive interactions with clients and prospects, particularly in regard to their investment perspectives, and also helped us attract new talent to the bank.

The campaign goes far beyond advertising, to truly capture and communicate the spirit and philosophy of our bank.
