Lombard Odier is honoured to have received the WealthBriefing European Awards 2025 for “Best Technology Outsourcing Solution” recognising our commitment to technological excellence and innovation.
This accolade is a testament to our dedication to delivering cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving needs of our private and institutional clients, including our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners.
Our accomplishments were celebrated at the awards ceremony in London on 27 March, where industry leaders gathered to recognise the most forward-thinking firms, teams, and individuals in wealth management.
This award recognises the longstanding collaboration between our technology, operations and business units in delivering innovative and bespoke solutions to our clients
Best technology outsourcing solution
This distinction acknowledges the expertise and dedication of our team in developing and enhancing our platform. It also underscores the strategic decisions that have allowed us to maintain a competitive edge and consolidate our position at the forefront of banking technology.
“We are proud to receive this award, which recognises the longstanding collaboration between our technology, operations and business units in delivering innovative and bespoke solutions to our clients,” says Geoffroy De Ridder, Head of Technology and Operations.
The judges were particularly impressed by “Lombard Odier G2/GX platform offering seamless integration of front-to-back services, with unmatched agility and efficiency. The platform provides comprehensive, scalable solutions, including portfolio management, global custody, and advanced AI-driven tools, empowering clients to optimise operations and enhance digital experiences.”
G2, a leading private banking solution
Over the years, Lombard Odier's G2 platform has established itself as a leading solution for private banking. Since its inception in the early 2000s, the platform has served both our private and institutional clients in Switzerland, as well as our international offices and booking centres. From the outset, our team of wealth managers, financial experts and IT professionals has played an integral role in the design and evolution of the platform.
G2 was created as a comprehensive front-to-back solution, supporting a wide range of business activities: discretionary asset management (both deposited and non-deposited), investment advisory, sell-side activity (trading/brokerage), global custody, global reporting/family office and mutual fund administration.
We are truly convinced that creating and maintaining our own pioneering solutions is a key differentiator
The platform not only meets current requirements but also opens new business opportunities by offering modular solutions developed to align with market practices and regulatory standards. It enables bankers to seamlessly navigate between clients’ dedicated spaces and portfolio management within a single system. The front office platform is fully integrated with My LO, our e-banking interface, ensuring a smooth end-to-end client experience.
Recognising the strengths of our platform, we made the strategic decision to offer it to other banks. Today, with ten banking and financial groups across multiple countries operating on G2, Lombard Odier is uniquely positioned in the integrated Application Service Provider (ASP) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market.
“We are truly convinced that creating and maintaining our own pioneering solutions is a key differentiator that, when combined with our expertise and values, enables us to offer our BPO clients outstanding service and deliver exceptional value” explains Geoffroy.
A transformation programme to maintain a competitive edge
Clients' expectations are evolving as innovations accelerates. The digitalisation of processes has fundamentally transformed our approach to client relations. Clients now expect seamless digital interactions, from onboarding to portfolio management, with bespoke financial strategies that align with their unique aspirations, values, and circumstances. This shift is particularly significant as engaging the next generation becomes as a critical challenge in the wealth management sector.
With the GX programme, we are perfectly prepared to respond to market evolutions and offer pioneering services that deliver new perspective for our clients
In response to these evolving expectations and to provide a best-in-class level of service, we launched the GX transformation programme in 2020. This seven-year initiative is focused on developing a modern, highly efficient, and scalable platform, in line with the latest technological standards, and expanding our business capabilities.
“With the GX programme, we are perfectly prepared to respond to market evolutions and offer pioneering services that deliver new perspective for our clients” comments Geoffroy.
To remain a partner of choice and strengthen our business model, we continue to enhance our platform’s capabilities – an achievement recognised by this prestigious award. This distinction reaffirms our commitment to continuous innovation, ensuring that our platform remains a benchmark in banking technology, providing the agility, efficiency, and scalability our clients need to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
