Lombard Odier and B Corp

corporate sustainability.

Corporate Sustainability is the notion that every decision made and action taken should have a positive impact on the environment and society.

Sustainability is at the heart of our investment philosophy. In addition, the values we embrace are firmly anchored in how we behave as a company as well.

We, at Lombard Odier, have taken many steps over the years to ensure our practices and operations are run in the most professional and responsible way, and preserve the interests of the communities we interact with.

In 2019, we will accelerate our corporate sustainability programme and will look in depth at every aspect of how we operate - from energy efficiency to carbon footprint, from transport policies to waste reduction, from third party suppliers to community engagement.

Corporate sustainability involves us all.

Lombard Odier and B Corp

We are proud to be the first global wealth and asset manager to obtain a B Corp certification, one of the world’s most advanced ratings for corporate sustainability.

This certification reflects our achievements so far and also drives us to continually improve to ensure a better tomorrow for all.

We hope many other financial institutions will engage in this movement that is making business a force for good.

Lombard Odier and UN Global Compact

We are honoured to announce that Lombard Odier is now a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. This means that the bank has pledged to support and promote the Ten Principles of the Global Compact categorised by major matters in human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. In regards to this partnership, we are also renewing our commitment and support to achieve the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, The UNGC encourages companies, organisations and governments to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies and to report on their implementation.

As signatories, we will therefore communicate our progress on corporate responsibility actions with our stakeholders as well on the UN Global Compact website.
