Lombard Odier receives the 2026 Geneva Economy Award
Lombard Odier is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the 2026 Geneva Economy Award. The most prestigious economic distinction in the Canton of Geneva, the award is presented by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, in partnership with the State of Geneva and the Office for the Promotion of Industries and Technologies.
The award represents an important recognition of Lombard Odier’s contribution to the economic development of the Canton of Geneva and to the prominence of Geneva and the Lake Geneva region as a leading centre of economic and financial excellence. It was presented yesterday at an official ceremony in Geneva attended by local authorities.
The distinction also recognises Lombard Odier’s longstanding commitment to innovation, excellence and sustainable finance, as well as the Group’s deep historical roots in Geneva and long-term investments in the canton – notably through its new flagship headquarters, 1Roof, a sustainable and innovative building designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
This award reflects our strong attachment to, and confidence in, Geneva as a financial centre, as well as our commitment to innovation and sustainability Hubert Keller, Senior Managing Partner
Hubert Keller, Senior Managing Partner, commented: “We are honoured to receive the 2026 Geneva Economy Award. With 230 years of history in Geneva, being granted the canton’s most prestigious economic distinction holds special significance for our Group, particularly as we inaugurated and moved into our new headquarters nearly a year ago. This award reflects our strong attachment to, and confidence in, Geneva as a financial centre, as well as our commitment to innovation and sustainability.”
Founded in 2012 by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), with the support of the State of Geneva and the Office for the Promotion of Industries and Technologies (OPI), the Geneva Economy Award is one of the canton’s most prestigious distinctions. It aims to promote and highlight Geneva’s economic fabric by recognising companies whose performance, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, social and environmental responsibility, and influence contribute to the dynamism and attractiveness of Geneva. Recipients are selected by a jury comprising leading figures from the business and academic communities, based on a combination of economic and societal criteria.
