Lombard Odier Investment Managers boosts Benelux institutional sales team

Lombard Odier Investment Managers has strengthened its Benelux sales capabilities with the appointment of Anna de Jong as Senior Sales Manager.

Anna joins from Nomura, where she was Executive Director for the quantitative derivative strategies and solutions department servicing the Dutch market. Her main focus was how to deal with the current low rate environment. Prior to that, she held roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and FactSet Research Systems. Anna holds a Master of Science in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Groningen.

Anna will be focused on further building Lombard Odier IM’s relationships with institutional clients primarily in the Netherlands, working closely together with Marcel van Ostaden, Head of Sales Benelux.

Marcel van Ostaden, comments, “We are steadily investing in our institutional Benelux sales team to be able to offer existing and new clients investment solutions in this constantly changing environment. The world has structurally changed and we know investors face enormous challenges in a market environment characterized by low risk-premia, persistent low interest rates, reduced liquidity and tail risks due to political and economic imbalances. Anna has an excellent knowledge of institutional investor needs and a strong technical background, which will ensure we continue to properly align the needs of our clients with our expertise.
