LOMBARD ODIER NAMED PRIVATE BANK OF THE YEAR
Lombard Odier was named Private Bank of the Year at the International Financial Centre Awards 2016, organised by Citywealth Magazine, in honour of excellence in the private wealth sector.
Shortlisted alongside five other leading private banks for the Switzerland and Liechtenstein region, Lombard Odier was named the winner in recognition of its:
- Focus on delivering excellence in wealth management for private clients
- Development and delivery of an industry-leading technology platform
- Overarching dedication to client service
“This award recognises the efforts made by our team of senior bankers and specialists in Switzerland over many years,” said Jean-Jacques Hamel, Chairman of the Francophone market at Lombard Odier.
“It highlights the relevance of the “Swiss offering" proposed by Lombard Odier in its domestic market. We have developed an integrated offering, which includes individualised management of the entire portfolio of our clients, including their assets and their pension liabilities.
“Independent, among the best-capitalised banks, focus on wealth management for private clients, relying on a much sought-after technology platform and solely dedicated to serving clients: These are our fundamentals at Lombard Odier.”
The awards, announced at a ceremony in London, on 20 January 2016, were judged by a combination of online voting (in which the public were invited to cast a ballot) and an international panel of experts.
This recognition follows news that Lombard Odier has been shortlisted in four categories for the WealthBriefing Swiss Awards 2016, which honour outstanding performance and standards in the industry.
The bank is in contention in the following categories: Domestic Private Bank, HNW Team (Swiss domestic clients), Client Initiative and Innovative Client Solution. The winners will be announced in Geneva on Thursday, 18 February 2016.
