Tokyo

Known for its progressive transformation and expression of digital art, teamLab has gained immense popularity both in Japan and internationally over the years.  As an art collective founded in 2001, teamLab are an inter-disciplinary group of ultra-technologists whose collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, science, technology, design and the natural world.  Various specialists such as artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians and architects form teamLab.  With their creations, they aim to explore a new relationship between humans and nature, and between oneself and the world through art.

teamLab’s unique approach to re-creating art is exemplified in their interactive Planets exhibition. We would like to provide you with a special access guided tour where they will explain teamLab’s interpretation of art in its dynamic and inspiring medium.
