Your IAM news, tips & insights - October 2017 editorial.

Dear Partners,

The year started positively, with a good first half performance. Client assets have risen across our three business lines: private banking, asset management and technology for banking. Our financial performance reflects our business model and strategy – to build a group which is increasingly international and diversified.

These investments have included the arrival of two new Managing Partners to reinforce our independent ownership model: Denis Pittet, formerly deputy head of our private client business and Independent Asset Managers, in January, and Annika Falkengren, formerly president and chief executive of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), in July.

The first half of 2017 has made me realise how valuable our ‘Maison’ is: the high quality of our teams working to meet your daily needs; the wide range of products, services and tools at your disposal; and a strategy pointing towards innovation and the future.

We continue to develop our international footprint. Francesca Maranghino, who has been part of the Lombard Odier Group since 2011, has left Gibraltar to lead our Independent Asset Managers team in Luxembourg. This new booking centre will become our European hub.

Last but not least, and as announced in the previous newsletter, we have created a video that celebrates 30 years of existence of our Independent Asset Managers’ department, reminding us of the value of our partnerships. Click here to view it.

Warm regards,

Laurent Pellet
