Art Night London
LOMBARD ODIER SUPPORTS THE FIRST ALL-NIGHT ARTS FESTIVAL
For one unique night in July – after the sun goes down over London – 10 of some of the world’s most innovative artists will turn the city’s spaces into their canvas.
Introducing Art Night London!
Lombard Odier is among the proud sponsors of a new all-night contemporary arts festival, running from dusk to dawn in the centre of one of the world’s artistic hubs. In a first-of-its-kind event that spans the heart of London, a range of buildings and public places will form the stage for a unique trail of visual and performing art projects.
“At Lombard Odier, art has always been close to our hearts and with our long tradition of supporting innovation and pioneership, it made sense for us to embrace this event. Our partnership with Art Night London allows us to offer our clients a unique experience in a city that is home to one of our most important and vibrant offices.”
Arnaud Leclercq, Lombard Odier, Limited Partner
Each year, one cultural institution or leading curator will take on a different part of London, exploring the area’s history, urbanism and architecture.
For the first edition, on 2 July 2016, the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) will curate site-specific and multidisciplinary art projects along the North Bank of the Thames. All the artists’ projects commissioned will experiment with the sites – in terms of architecture and history – to create unique encounters for the audiences.
As a champion of innovation and a supporter of the arts, Lombard Odier’s decision to support the event chimes with its pioneering spirit. In partnership with the auction house Phillips and the Art Night Festival organisers, Lombard Odier will create a VIP Programme around the festival. In the week leading up the night, our clients will be invited to a series of exclusive events that will bring the cultural, aesthetic and social significance of Art Night London to life.
